Welcome to the Mill House Hotel. One of the last independent family owned hotels in the Cotswolds. Nestling in 10 acres of lawned gardens this converted flour mill is steeped in history dating back to the Domesday Book of 1086.

The Mill House Hotel is the perfect location for your Cotswold wedding. Whether couples are seeking a civil ceremony or just a reception venue we are the perfect place.
Each bride’s ideal day is individually designed and overseen by our Wedding co-ordinator and our Head Chef Matt Dare is available to help create your wedding menu. At the Mill we want you to tell us how you picture your perfect day and then, working together, we will make it happen. This is your dream day so there should be no compromise.

The Accommodation
The hotel has 23 bedrooms and offers accommodation for up to 53 adult guests. For the wedding party some of the rooms allow families to sleep three. Our rooms are guaranteed for check in from 2pm and check out is requested by 11am on the morning of departure.
The Ceremony
The hotel has special dispensation to hold civil ceremonies and civil partnership ceremonies in four of the public rooms; The Churchill Room, The Millbrook Annexe, The Mill Brook Room and The Cotswold Lounge. We are licensed for up to 80 people for the ceremony.
If you wish to marry at the Mill House, you will need the attendance of a Superintendent Registrar of the District to register the marriage.
The Wedding Breakfast
For the wedding breakfast our restaurant can seat up to 80 guests. Our chef, Matt Dare will be happy to discuss your choice but some sample menus are included in the wedding pack illustrating the style of cuisine we offer.
Wedding breakfast menus start from £25.00 for 2 courses and go up to £50.00 for a 9 course tasting menu.
Marquee
To accommodate a greater number of guests a marquee can be arranged in the grounds for 50 to 200 people. There are a limited number of dates available and tariffs vary according to your individual needs.
Flowers
All public areas at The Mill House Hotel are decorated with fresh floral arrangements. However, if you would like additional floral decorations to suit your colour scheme then we will be delighted to discuss this with you.
Music
There are several options concerning music for the ceremony and reception, from a string quartet or harpist, to simply your own selection of music. We are able to arrange a disco or live music up until midnight if you have exclusive use of the hotel.
